Playmi: a music streaming platform
Product design, project management and marketing for a streaming service across web, iOS and Android, built around independent artists and DJs.
Founder-led product design & delivery
- One design language across the web player and the iOS/Android apps, designed in Figma.
- Home feed with featured track, new releases, trending charts and a live "all-time heaters" rail.
- Album, artist and player screens for mobile, with credits that link through to artist pages.

Ticketmi: event discovery & ticketing
A dark-first events marketplace where people discover, RSVP and buy tickets, and organizers create events.
Product design & front-end
- Event cards with category, date, venue, price and clear status badges such as Closed.
- Fast search across events, artists and venues, plus a Find My Tickets lookup.
- Free RSVP and paid ticket flows, organizer event creation, and a light/dark toggle.

ClientDesk: a digital insurance platform
Designed and built an end-to-end platform that puts insurance in consumers’ hands while giving brokers a modern workspace.

- iOS/Android app and broker dashboard, from wireframes and user-flow maps to the final UI.
- Hybrid app on Ionic/Angular and a React dashboard, backed by a MEAN stack on AWS.
- Broker advisory group and A/B testing to find and fix real pain points.

BMO Life portal & app pilot
Wireframes and design mocks for a policy-management portal and companion mobile app.
UX/UI designer

Film · Interactive campaign
Scream 4: the movie site (scream4.ca)
A large-scale promotional site for the Scream 4 release, built at a time when full-screen video backgrounds in HTML5 were still new.
Designer & front-end developer
- One of the early interactive HTML5 sites to use full-screen video backgrounds.
- Full-screen cinematic video as the backdrop, with a characters section and a pause/play control.
- A “Make a Scream face” fan interactive with sharing via Twitter and Facebook.

Rajeev Kugan
A creative leader specializing in SaaS-based, end-consumer product delivery, now building with AI at the centre of the workflow. For 20+ years I’ve challenged the status quo while keeping stakeholders’ wants and needs at the centre, working across Canada’s largest banks, insurers and brands.
That experience is the point: AI speeds up the work, but knowing the full end-to-end scope is what makes it land.
I’m a creator at heart who adopted design, development, marketing, photography and cinematography as ways to bring a vision to life. Devbites Inc. is the incorporated home for that work: contract and consulting engagements with larger organizations, delivered with AI-driven tooling and decades of hard-won product judgment.
